Where it started

A question no one had answered.

In 2021, Joshua Dsouza read a news report about a road accident in Delhi. The victim had no accessible identification. Emergency contacts could not be reached. The delay cost lives.

The question that followed was specific: what if anyone who found you in an emergency could reach your family instantly, without knowing your phone number, without an app, without any registration at all?

That question became 1QR4.me. A patented emergency connectivity system built around one insight: the problem is not that people do not want to help. The problem is that helping is too hard. We made it take 30 seconds.

"We are determined to make safety universally accessible - affordable, inclusive, and ready to serve anyone, anywhere. No app. No friction. No phone number shared."

Our journey

Built deliberately.
Validated at every stage.

2021

The idea

Joshua Dsouza reads about a Delhi road accident where no one could reach the victim's family. He asks why. The answer becomes 1QR4.me.

2022

The system is built and patented

The automated call bridge, OTP verification flow, and phone number masking architecture are built from scratch and filed for patent.

2023

Government recognition and first pilot

Pointible Technologies is DPIIT recognised. Thane Traffic Police completes a road safety pilot - bystander to family in under 30 seconds, validated on public roads.

2024

Meta Verified and patent granted

Meta Verified Tech Provider status achieved - a proprietary WhatsApp bot with direct infrastructure integration. Patent No. 434662 granted by the Indian Patent Office.

Now

Institutional deployment at scale

In-principle approval from IRCTC for Tejas Express deployment. GMR Airports and Delhi Duty Free in implementation phase. Goa Tourism MoU with the Government of Goa in progress. FASTag integration under evaluation by the Supreme Court Monitoring Committee on Road Safety.

What drives us

Six principles.
Every decision runs through them.

These are not values written for a pitch deck. They are the constraints we work inside every day.

Privacy by default

Phone numbers are never surfaced to anyone at any stage. We built the masking architecture first, then everything else around it.

Speed when it matters

Sub-30-second response time from scan to first call. In emergencies, the system acts automatically. No human needs to be in the loop.

Universally accessible

No app. No prior registration by the reporter. Works on any phone, anywhere, at any income level. A good samaritan should never face friction.

Utility earns the interaction

We do not advertise. We build something people find genuinely useful at a moment that matters. That is how every relationship with 1QR4.me starts.

Infrastructure, not a product

1QR4.me is a layer under other things - bag tags, ID cards, vehicle stickers. The brand stays yours. The safety stays active. We stay invisible.

Consent at every stage

Emergency contacts consent before activation. Reporters verify identity before the bridge opens. Privacy is structural, not a setting.

Patent and technology

The infrastructure no one else has built.

Patent No. 434662 - Method and System for Reporting an Emergency Event - covers a verified, privacy-preserving bridge between a reporter and a registered person's emergency contacts, activated by a physical QR code with no app required.

The patent covers OTP verification, simultaneous multi-contact calling, phone number masking, and the WhatsApp follow-up channel. The combination is protected. No competitor can replicate this stack without licensing.

Method and System for Reporting an Emergency Event

QR-triggered activation

Any smartphone camera starts the sequence. No app, no prior registration, no friction for the reporter.

OTP identity verification

Reporter identity confirmed before the bridge activates. Misuse is structurally prevented, not just discouraged.

Simultaneous multi-contact bridge

Up to three contacts called at once. First to answer is bridged live. Zero numbers revealed at any point.

Encrypted WhatsApp follow-up

Private group created post-call. Location, media, coordination. Phone numbers hidden throughout.

DPIIT recognised. Meta verified. Patented. Deployed across government, enterprise, and rail.
