By registering for or using the 1QR4.me service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to all users of 1QR4.me, including individual subscribers, institutional deployers, brand partners, and anyone who interacts with the service as a reporter or emergency contact.
1QR4.me is a patented emergency connectivity platform that connects individuals who scan a registered QR code to the registered user's emergency contacts through an automated call bridge.
The service is provided as-is. While we operate with redundancy and reliability as core infrastructure principles, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability in emergency situations.
The service is not a substitute for emergency services. Always call the relevant emergency number (112 in India) in a life-threatening situation. 1QR4.me is a supplementary communication layer, not a primary emergency response system.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate emergency contact information in your profile. Outdated or incorrect contact details may result in the service being unable to reach the right people.
You must ensure that all emergency contacts you add have consented to receive calls through the 1QR4.me system. The platform requests consent from contacts before activation, but you are responsible for not adding contacts without their knowledge.
You must not misuse the reporting function. Fraudulent or malicious emergency reports are prohibited and may result in account termination and potential legal action.
Institutional and brand partners are responsible for the accurate representation of their deployment to end users, and for ensuring that the service is deployed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
The 1QR4.me service may only be used for legitimate emergency reporting, lost property recovery, and the safety purposes for which it is designed.
You may not use the service to harass, stalk, or cause harm to any person. You may not use the service to make false emergency reports.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the platform's security or privacy architecture.
Institutional partners may not resell or sublicense the service without a separate written agreement with Pointible Technologies.
1QR4.me and the underlying emergency connectivity system are protected by Indian Patent No. 434662 - Method and System for Reporting an Emergency Event.
All trademarks, service marks, and logos associated with Pointible Technologies and 1QR4.me are the property of Pointible Technologies Private Limited. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
Institutional and brand partners are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use 1QR4.me branding in connection with authorised co-deployments only.
Pointible Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the 1QR4.me service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
