Last updated: May 2026. This policy applies to Pointible Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and the 1QR4.me platform.
Pointible Technologies Private Limited is a DPIIT recognised startup incorporated in India. We operate 1QR4.me, a patented emergency connectivity platform that connects first responders to registered emergency contacts through an automated call bridge.
Registered address: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For privacy-related queries, contact us at privacy@1qr4.me.
When you register with 1QR4.me, we collect your mobile phone number, which is used for identity verification and to operate the emergency call bridge. Your number is never shared with reporters or third parties.
We collect emergency contact details that you voluntarily add to your profile. These contacts are notified and asked to consent before being activated.
When a reporter initiates an emergency report, we collect their mobile number for OTP verification purposes only. This number is not shared with the registered user or their contacts.
We collect scan event data including timestamp, approximate location, and device type. This is used to operate the service and provide deployment analytics to institutional partners.
Your mobile number is used solely to operate the emergency call bridge and to verify your identity within the platform. It is not used for marketing, advertising, or sold to any third party.
Emergency contact details are used only to initiate calls when an emergency is reported against your registered QR. Contacts can opt out at any time.
Scan event data is used to operate the service, provide deployment analytics to institutional and brand partners (in anonymised or aggregated form), and to detect misuse or abuse of the system.
We may use your contact details to send you service notifications such as contact consent confirmations, account updates, or critical service communications.
1QR4.me is built on a privacy-first architecture. Phone numbers of registered users and their emergency contacts are never revealed to reporters at any stage of the emergency flow.
All calls are routed through our encrypted call infrastructure. The reporter speaks with the emergency contact through a bridged call where neither party sees the other's number.
The WhatsApp follow-up group created after a call uses temporary, session-scoped identifiers. No phone numbers are visible to any participant in the group.
Account data is retained for the duration of your active subscription and for a period of 90 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.
Call recordings, where made, are retained for 30 days and are accessible only to your registered emergency contacts.
Scan event logs are retained for 12 months for operational and analytics purposes, after which they are anonymised or deleted.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, and to request erasure of your data.
You may withdraw consent for data processing at any time by contacting us at privacy@1qr4.me. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use the 1QR4.me service.
You have the right to nominate a person to exercise your data rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
We use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform as a Meta Verified Tech Provider. WhatsApp communications are subject to Meta's own privacy policy in addition to this policy.
We use telephony infrastructure providers to operate the automated call bridge. These providers process call metadata as data processors under our instruction and are bound by data processing agreements.
We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels from third parties, or sell data to data brokers.
For any privacy-related queries, data access requests, or complaints, contact us at privacy@1qr4.me. We will respond within 72 hours.
